Course description

This module covers the building blocks of strong video visuals. Composition rules like rule of thirds, leading lines, and headroom. Lighting setups for indoor and outdoor shoots, natural vs artificial light, and how to avoid harsh shadows or blown-out highlights. Framing techniques for different shot types, from wide establishing shots to close-ups that hold attention. Students learn to read a scene before they shoot it, not fix it after.
